Eligibility

• Be a parent or grandparent of a permanent resident of or Canada Canadian citizen.
• The candidate sponsoring their relative for this PR visa must be earning at least CAD 58,000 annually to become eligible.
• Have a valid passport or some other travel document.
• Undergo a medical examination.
• Be able to demonstrate to the medical officer that you have your family, assets, wealth etc. to serve as an incentive to come back to your home nation.
• Be able to convince that the children or grandchildren sponsoring should meet the minimum income threshold required.
• Be able to give a written statement by children or grandchildren that they will support you in terms of finance, during your stay.
• Have to be medically insured at least for one year during the stay.
